When is it the time to consider a nursing home for your parents?
When a parent’s safety needs cannot be managed at home, specialized 24-hour supervision is required, there is a diminished quality of life at home, there is increased stress on the caregiver, or there is a short-term change of condition which requires rehabilitation.
What’s the difference between nursing and assisted living?
Skilled Nursing Facilities are for those who require 24-hour nursing supervision and/or assistance for all activities of daily living. Assisted living is for seniors who are independent but may require some limited care.
Are there social activities?
We provide a number of social activities. There are also Candlelight Dinners offered quarterly.
What if there is an emergency?
All staff are trained for Fire and Disaster Preparedness; Licensed Nurses are all certified for CPR. A Board Certified Medical Director is available 24/7 for staff consultation.
